A study of the style, format, content, principles, and techniques of legal writing. Practice in drafting pleadings, agreements, contracts, legal documents, trial briefs. and memoranda.
Prerequisite(s): PAR-2450 .
Course Outcomes
  1. Evaluate basic legal research analysis and counter-analysis.
  2. Explain the fundamental concepts of legal writing.
  3. Prepare case law research, briefing, and legal citations.
  4. Apply the principles of effective legal writing to various types of case documents.
