ACC-2120 Accounting Information Systems

This course examines accounting information systems, both manual and computerized. The course includes information on current technologies in information systems including hardware, software, networks, databases, and data communications. Internal controls and securitysystems are examined.

Prerequisite(s): ACC-2002.
Three class hours with open lab.

Develop database queries to provide relevant information regarding the business operations and performance.
Prepare data flow diagrams to understand, evaluate, and document information systems.
Design business processes with appropriate documentation tools.
