Study of capital markets and the banking system.
Prerequisite(s): ACC-2002 , MAT-1120 .

Course Outcomes
  1. Explain the role of financial management in the domestic and international marketplace, using theory, institutional background and analytical tools.

  2. Apply financial models to stocks and bonds in primary and secondary markets

  3. Distinguish between money and capital markets.

  4. Explain financial performance through use of liquidity, asset management, leverage, profitability and market-based ratios.

  5. Construct plans to meet financial goals of an organization.

  6. Explain securities, capital budgeting, cost of capital, working capital and ease analysis.

  7. Analyze the relations between risk and return.

  8. Interpret financial market data, required rate of return, and yield to maturity on bonds through the capitalization of the cash flow method.
