ART-2530 Drawing II

An advanced studio course that emphasizes further development of individual drawing skills, a thorough understanding of drawing principles, and a greater exploration of the various drawing materials and techniques. The human figure, landscape, and man-made objects are the source of investigation.
Prerequisite(s): ART-1530 .
6 studio hours.

Course Outcomes
  1. Utilize advanced drawing vocabulary.
  2. Create original drawings from direct observation using a variety of media and techniques. 
  3. Create drawings using expanded compositional principles and drawing techniques.
  4. Critique artwork in depth, focusing on subject, form, and content
  5. Analyze a drawing in depth, focusing on subject, form, and content.
