Prerequisite(s): ESL-0102 with a grade of C or higher, or placement by exam.
ESL-2000 and ESL-200.

Use the writing process to produce essays of appropriate length that demonstrate unity of ideas on academic topics.
Respond coherently to prompts using rhetorical patterns with appropriate signal vocabulary.
Use standard academic English grammar to communicate ideas effectively.
