PRF-1012 Introduction to Performing Arts and Entertainment Technology Credits 3 PRF 1012 examines the divergent roles and mediums that exist in the Performing Arts and Entertainment Technology and how they intersect with culture and society. Explorations of theatre performance, design, dance, and event technology are undertaken to begin establishing a professional canon. Students enrolled in this course are required to attend the live theatre performance(s) listed in the syllabus outside of scheduled class time. This experience is vital to understanding and learning about the performing arts and is tied directly to significant assignments in this class. The specific requirements and details regarding the live theatre performance(s)are outlined in the syllabus. Students should pay special attention to this requirement.
