MUS-1060 Small Rock Ensemble

Required for students taking applied instrumental lessons. May be repeated for up to 4 credits
Prerequisite(s): Prerequisite:  Ability to read & perform from sheet music.

 
Course Outcomes

1. Demonstrate through performance basic instrumental playing techniques suitable for an ensem
2. Demonstrate through performance a growth in the performance of instrumental ensemble playing as found in a traditional printed score and through improvisation
3. Through performance, express the emotions musically, in the appropriate style that is found in the ensemble literature that is being studied
4. Perform as an instrumentalist in a presentation given by the class as the end of the semester
