An examination of the structure and function of cells with particular emphasis on metabolism, reproduction, and the molecular aspects of cell communication and regulation.
Prerequisite(s): BIO-1140 and CHM-1010
3 class/3 lab hours.
Course Outcomes
  1. Describe the basic principles of cell biology.
  2. Describe internal cellular organization and function.
  3. Explain the molecular basis for various cell processes, including cell division and signal transduction.
