CSM-1850 Construction Quality Control Credits 3 General overview of the contractor’s quality control (QC) as it pertains to each trade on the job. Includes documentation, support, and the interaction between construction and QC. Course Outcomes
- Describe the technical requirements, as relates to quality, of the project plans and specifications.
- Create a comprehensive Quality Control Plan, for a project, that goes from the inception of a project through completion (turnover).
- Create a testing program to insure that quality goals are met.
- Create a system for reviewing, approving, and processing all required submittals.
- Create a daily written record of the work performed and the quality control measures taken each day.
- Create a technical library to assess the quality aspects of plans, submissions, and work performed.
- Describe the quality issues that relate to each of the trades – masonry, carpentry, plumbing, electrical.
