- Identify evergreen and spring flowering trees, shrubs, and vines commonly used in the nursery and landscaping industry in Zones 6 and 7.
- Compare the installation, cultural, and maintenance requirements of a wide variety of evergreen and spring flowering landscape plant materials.
- Categorize how plants function within a system, both aesthetically and ecologically.
- Compare the diversity of form, color, texture, and mature size of evergreen and spring flowering trees.
- Identify appropriate plant materials for specific landscape settings.
- Describe the common plant disorders, both biotic and abiotic, of each plant covered.
