HSM-1515 Leadership and Interpersonal Dynamics in Hospitality Credits 3 This course is designed to identify and develop individual leadership skills. It emphasizes the importance of self-awareness and self-efficacy while encompassing various styles and theories of leadership in hospitality. Accountable measures are based on management levels, personality traits, code of ethics, communications, and guidance. Emphasis is placed on defining leadership principles that can be implemented in the hospitality industry, assessing leadership abilities, high-performance activities, teamwork, and employee empowerment. Corequisite(s): HSM-1510, CUL-1100. Course Outcomes
