HSM-2050 Human Resources Management in the Hospitality Industry Credits 3 This course provides insight into the essential role of human resources within an organization, such as recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, evaluating and retaining personnel. The subject matter aligns human resources with managing organizational structure, diversity of employees, and environmental complexity. Students will discover techniques and tools to monitor work performance while maintaining a fair and legal environment. Prerequisite(s): HSM-1510 or CUL-1100 Course Outcomes
