HLE-2250 Health Issues for Women

Examines a broad range of health issues that are either unique to women or of special importance to women, including eating disorders, abuse and rape, self-esteem related to appearance, and reproductive technology.
Course Outcomes
  1. List health care issues specifically related to women
  2. Correlate gender stereotyping and differences to their effect on women’s behavior
  3. Identify behavior related to abusive relationships, drugs, and self-esteem
  4. Compare and contrast gynecological issues
  5. Evaluate reproductive choices available to women
