ENT-1600 Introduction to CAD with AutoCAD
Credits 3 Techniques for creating, editing, annotating and presenting two-dimensional CAD drawings. This credit course may also be taken as a continuing education course TEC-981 Introduction to CAD with AutoCAD.
Course Outcomes
- Use AutoCAD software to create two-dimensional drawings from the toolbar, menu, command line, and command aliases.
- Use multiple layers effectively and appropriately.
- Compare and contrast the use of AutoCAD’s various coordinate systems, such as UCS, Cartesian, absolute, relative, and vector.
- Create professional, scaled prints of drawings from model and paper space.
- Create a complex, multi-view, multi-layer, fully annotated two-dimensional drawing.
