BIO-2300 Introduction to Environmental Health 3 Credits An introduction to how humans affect and are affected by the quality of water, air, soil, and food resources. Provides an overview of pollution issues that impact human health; emphasizes types and sources of pollutants and their consequences with respect to human health. Also explores the impact of the growing human population on environmental quality and on health issues. Prerequisite(s): BIO-1130 , BIO-1140 , and MAT-0104 with grades of C or higher.
