CHN-1000 Chinese for Beginners

Designed for students who are true beginners without any background knowledge of the Chinese language. This course will focus on the four skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Students will learn Mandarin pronunciation, grammar, and Chinese characters. Humanities general education class.
3 class/1 lab hour or equivalent.
