EGL-2600 Introduction to the Novel 3 Credits An overview of the history, development, and form of the novel. This course examines novels from a variety of cultures, ranging from the genre’s inception to the present, using introductory literary theory to better understand these works and their historical, cultural, and literary contexts. Humanities general education class. Prerequisite(s): EGL-1020 or EGL-1100 or EGL-1320 or EGL-1340 .
