PMD-1030 Cardiology and EKG Interpretation

3 Credits
An in-depth study of the pathophysiology, assessment and treatment of cardiac emergencies including basic and advanced EKG interpretation. Extensive use of laboratory and computer-assisted instruction will be emphasized.
Prerequisite(s): Program admissions and permission of the program director. Corequisite(s): PMD-1000 , PMD-1010 , PMD-1020 , and PMD-1100 .
3 class/2 lab hours.
Note: All courses incorporate Statewide Protocols for Paramedic as applicable.
