TED-2840 Elementary Methods

This course focuses on strategies of teaching in the elementary grades and knowledge of the theory and research supporting these strategies. Opportunities for practice of planning and delivery of instruction will be provided. A goal of this course is to develop the habit of reflective practice and to foster collaborative problem solving. This course is intended for those persons who have a bachelor’s degree and are seeking initial teacher certification and for teachers seeking recertification.
Prerequisite(s): Departmental permission required.
All TED courses must be passed with a grade of C or higher.
