BMT-2500 Introduction to Federal Contracting 3 Credits Fundamental concepts and principles of the federal procurement system and use of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Topics include the background of federal contracting, careers in contracting, types of contracting, competition, federal acquisition process, small purchase procedures, bids and proposals, and the award/protest process. Prerequisite(s): Reading proficiency. Formerly offered as MGT-2500. Students may not receive credit for both MGT- 2500 and BMT-2500.
