MAT-1340 Trigonometry with Applications to Technology 3 Credits Introduction to problem solving with right-triangle trigonometry and review of geometrical concepts. Emphasis on problem-oriented application of trigonometric functions and relationships. Intermediate algebra required. Math general education class. Prerequisite(s): Math placement score or MAT-0104 (formerly MAT-1040) with grade of C or higher. 3 class/1 lab hours. Note: All mathematics courses require extensive use of a computer and/or a graphing calculator. In addition, all math courses have a prerequisite of reading proficiency. (Offered spring only.)
