MAT-2160 Applied Calculus I 3 Credits First course in a two-course sequence of applied calculus for business and social and life sciences majors. Topics include limits, differentiation, integration, functions of several variables including partial derivatives, and applications. Math general education class. Prerequisite(s): Appropriate math placement score or MAT-1350 or MAT-1250 with a grade of C or higher. Note: All mathematics courses require extensive use of a computer and/or a graphing calculator. In addition, all math courses have a prerequisite of reading proficiency.
