MLD-1430 Multi-Disciplinary EGL-1020/HST-1430 6 Credits A dual, interdisciplinary course using literature and literary analysis to augment the study of American history from the Civil War through the present. The course incorporates university-parallel study of and writing about American literature by genre (e.g., fiction, poetry, drama), including essays, a research paper, online/special projects, and a writing-lab component. Students will earn credit for both EGL-1020 and HST-1430 . English general education class, Social sciences general education class. Prerequisite(s): Reading and writing proficiency or MUS-1010 with a C or higher. 6 lecture hours.
