Prerequisite(s): EGL-1020, EGL-1100, EGL-1320, or EGL-1340.

Course Outcomes

Identify, interpret, and analyze the different forms of African-American literature.
Analyze how African-American literature reflects the times during which it was created.
Apply literary and critical terminology and concepts, demonstrating their use in understanding and appreciating African-American literature.
