Television production emphasizing field production and editing. This hands-on course includes instruction on the use of field cameras, location lighting, and audio equipment to produce several projects, as well as best practices in producing and directing on location.
Prerequisite(s): TRF-1330 or permission of department.

Course Outcomes

Demonstrate an understanding of the pre-production, production and post-production processes in video production.
Produce a video project on location.
Maintain a production notebook
Develop a budget for the project
Prepare a script or outline and storyboard for the project
Construct a shooting schedule for the project.
Operate lights, camera, and sound production equipment to shoot the scene on location.
Assemble (edit) the footage recorded into the finished project
