INT-2250 Introduction to DevOps



Credits: 3
In this course, students learn about the DevOps cultural philosophy, including the importance of bringing together software development and operational teams and how a focus on community completes tasks more effectively. They explore how DevOps can enhance the delivery of new software features and improve system quality and scalability. Students also use techniques and tools needed for developing programs and new features using practices of DevOps. Additionally, students learn how to optimize operational efficiency. Throughout the course, students engage in real-life applications and projects that allow them to apply DevOps principles to real-world scenarios.

Prerequisite(s): INT-1111 .

  2. Discuss strategies for effective collaboration between software development and operational teams
  3. Design and implement DevOps workflows that improve software delivery processes
  4. Optimize operational efficiency through the use of DevOps methodologies and strategies

  6. Use techniques for Amazon Machine Image (AMI) Building and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) Systems Manager
