Eastern philosophical and religious thoughts and their influence on relationships between East and West. 

Course Outcomes
  1. Identify major distinctions between “eastern” and “western” philosophy. 
  2. Demonstrate a grasp of the core concepts in the eastern traditions. 
  3. Compare and contrast several eastern traditions on a specific philosophical issue.
  4. Apply the reasoning of one of the traditions to a current issue.
