Continuation of SPN-2010 with emphasis on the history and culture of Spain and Latin America.

Prerequisite(s): SPN-2010 or four years of high school Spanish or equivalent. Native Spanish speakers welcome with permission of the department.

Course Outcomes

Communicate in intermediate level spoken Spanish, using expressions related to culture and civilization.
Read and understand intermediate level Spanish.
Write a topical paragraph demonstrating Spanish proficiency at the intermediate level.
Demonstrate an understanding of culture and civilization in the Spanish-speaking world.
