Program Description
This program is also available completely online. In the Marketing Management Certificate program, students learn how marketing affects organizations, their customers, and the global business environment. They analyze how different legal, ethical, social, and technological viewpoints impact marketing decision-making as well as how these components interact. Students analyze marketing strategies and perform a Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis. Next, students use that data to make informed decisions that will improve or grow the organization. Additionally, they discuss the components of a marketing plan and evaluate the effectiveness of integrated marketing plans. This degree prepares students for entry level positions as a marketing assistant, marketing research assistant, or sales representative. All of the courses in this certificate can be applied to the Marketing Management, A.A.S. program when specific electives are completed.
