Program Description
The Computer-Aided Drafting certificate program provides students with the background required to obtain entry-level employment in the computer-aided drafting (CAD) field. Students learn to create complex mechanical and architectural drawings. Students become proficient using industry-standard CAD software to create two-dimensional drawings and three-dimensional models. Program Outcomes
Graduates of the Computer-Aided Drafting Certificate will be able to: - Use AutoCAD software to create and edit complex two-dimensional drawings.
- Use appropriate CAD software to create three-dimensional models.
- Produce a complete set of working drawings for a complex mechanical part or building.
