CJT-2510 Criminal Law 3 Credits A study of substantive criminal law, including elements of state and federal crimes. Constitutional limitations on the types of conduct that can be criminalized, affirmative defenses to criminal liability, appropriate criminal statutes, and interpretive court decisions will be examined. Prerequisite(s): Reading proficiency.
