EGL-2160 Advanced Creative Writing 3 Credits An intensive, genre-specific workshop which aims to further the philosophies, issues, and possibilities of craft explored in its predecessor, EGL-2150 . This course will encourage the serious creative writing student to pursue more sophisticated and complex expression in a selected genre (fiction, poetry, or drama). Although the course will contain reading and analysis of contemporary authors, the focus will be on the creation of original work with constructive feedback from peers considered during the revision process. Prerequisite(s): EGL-1020 or EGL-1100 or EGL-1320 or EGL-1340 ; and EGL-2150 or permission of instructor.
