TED-2300 Introduction to Special Education

3 Credits
Designed as an introduction to the field of special education. The course covers the education of exceptional students: historical, philosophical, educational, legal issues, and current practices in assessment, diagnosis, and teaching.
Prerequisite(s): Reading proficiency. It is recommended that A.A.T. students take TED-2301  concurrently with TED-2300.
Note: All TED courses must be passed with a grade of C or higher.
