EGL-0080 Foundations of College English

This course, designed to prepare students for college-level courses, integrates reading and writing skills, specifically by developing vocabulary, comprehension, and critical thinking. Emphasis will be placed on engaging with and analyzing college-level texts. Writing skills start at the sentence and paragraph level and culminate in original college-level writing in academic English.
Prerequisite(s): Students are eligible for this course based on a combined Accuplacer test score of 0-99.
