MAS-2040 Professional Seminar

Prepares students for the externship experience. Focuses on the traits and behaviors of the professional medical assistant, and the importance of credentialing. This course is a review of the general, administrative, and clinical concepts and competencies based on national guidelines for medical assisting graduates.
Prerequisite(s): MAS-2010, MAS-2020, and MAS-2030 with grades of C or higher and eligibility for EGL-1010 and MAT-1120. Corequisite(s): MAS-2050 and MAS-2060.
