MAT-1140 Introduction to Statistics

3 Credits
Basic statistical concepts and their applications in a variety of fields. (Credit may not be received for both MAT-1140 and MAT-1160 .) Math general education class.
Prerequisite(s): Appropriate mathematics placement or a grade of C or higher in MAT-0104  (formerly MAT-1040) or MAT-0092 .
Note: All mathematics courses require extensive use of a computer and/or a graphing calculator. In addition, all math courses have a prerequisite of reading proficiency.
