ART-2630 Commercial Illustration II Credits 3 Designed to expand a student’s exploration of illustration techniques. Emphasis is on the creative approach to preparing imaginative, effective illustrations. Prerequisite(s): ART-1630. 6 studio hours. Course Outcomes
- Identify styles or trends within an illustrator’s body of work.
- Demonstrate the stages of developing a visual product through the use of a sketchbook.
- Apply a variety of traditional and digital methods to the production of illustrations
- Evaluate an illustration’s form, content, and narrative.
- Synthesize visual research into the creation of illustrations.
- Assemble an illustration portfolio.
