INT-2670 Firewalls Credits 3 This course provides the basics of next-generation security firewalls. It also helps learners to identify common attacks and threats against networks and to identify vulnerabilities in network security. Moreover, the course describes the current cutting-edge technologies that help to prevent and mitigate cyberattacks. In this course, students learn key topics such as cryptography, virtual private networks, and endpoint protection. They also become competent at configuring basic features of next generation firewalls. The course helps prepare learners to take firewall-related industry certification exams. Prerequisite(s): INT-1620 Security+ Preparation Course Outcomes
