- Articulate their personal goals and philosophy of teaching.
- Create a teaching portfolio that demonstrates their expert knowledge, classroom management techniques, professional development, observational records, students’ work, efforts for improvement, and personal reflections.
- Develop lesson plans that incorporate active learning teaching strategies.
- Generate solutions to identify key educational/psychological issues in the case studies.
- Design research studies based on descriptive, quasi-experimental and experimental research methods.
- Use information literacy skills to conduct research and produce research papers, projects and presentations.
- Apply theories of development, to effectively teach and motivate diverse student learners.
- Develop strategies for addressing learning challenges and problems of contemporary school-aged children.
