Welcome to Prince George’s Community College, otherwise known as PGCC! I am honored to serve as the College’s ninth president. We’re so glad you’ve chosen to partner with us on your educational and professional career journey.
Prince George’s Community College offers more than 80 academic programs to meet the growing needs of our students and prepare them for in-demand careers. We welcome not only recent high school graduates, but also adult learners, looking to retrain or obtain a career edge. Our students proudly carry a range of titles, including first-generation student, working parent, veteran, seasoned professional—and even high school student through our dual enrollment program.
Here at Prince George’s Community College, each of the nearly 40,000 students who enroll each year are in pursuit of the same thing: a pathway to success. Their stories are different, but the desired end is the same. For the past 62 years, the College has been helping to write a chapter of the stories for students just like you.
The 2020-21 Online Catalog provides an overview of all the programs the College has to offer. In addition to using the catalog as a guide, remember the importance of one-on-one interaction with an academic advisor, who will ensure you have a personalized plan that can save you time and money.
