ART-2610 Graphic Design II

Graphic Design II provides students with advanced concepts used in the creation of advertising art, Web-based graphics, broadcast graphics, interactive multimedia, electronic publishing and print media. This course expands the survey of design principles and artistic concepts to a more global perspective. Prerequisite: ART-2410  . 6 studio hours.

Course Outcomes
 

  1. Create original graphic design projects through a variety of methods.
  2. Present original print and screen-based graphic design projects in a professional manner.
  3. Use the expanded vocabulary of the discipline.
  4. Apply essential software, hardware, and correct file management to complete work.
  5. Assemble an entry-level portfolio of advanced graphic design work.
  6. Prepare graphic design projects for output and delivery.
