ART-2630 Commercial Illustration II

Designed to expand a student’s exploration of illustration techniques. Emphasis is on the creative approach to preparing imaginative, effective illustrations.
Prerequisite(s): ART-1630 .
6 studio hours.
Course Outcomes
  1. Identify styles or trends within an illustrator’s body of work. 
  2. Demonstrate the stages of developing a visual product through the use of a sketchbook.  
  3. Apply a variety of traditional and digital methods to the production of illustrations
  4. Evaluate an illustration’s form, content, and narrative.
  5. Synthesize visual research into the creation of illustrations.
  6. Assemble an illustration portfolio.
