ART-2780 Digital Photography II Credits 3 This course is a continuation of ART-2580 . Students will explore complex techniques and contemporary concerns associated with advanced electronic imaging. The students will utilize digital cameras; film and flatbed scanners to digitize negatives, slides, and photographs; manipulate images; and produce finished prints with laser and inkjet printers. Students must have access to a digital camera for use in the course. Prerequisite(s): ART-2580 . Course Outcomes
- Use digital cameras and scanned content in the production of work.
- Apply appropriate file management methodologies.
- Compare various techniques used to enhance and alter digital images.
- Create a personal project of digital photographs.
- Prepare work for presentation: printing, matting, and framing.
- Analyze a digital photograph’s subject, form, content, and technique.
