Principles for Applied College Algebra is an algebra-based corequisite course designed to provide the skills and conceptual understanding to succeed in the accompanying college-level MAT-1250  Applied College Algebra course. Essential skills and concepts include operations on polynomials, solving linear equations and inequalities, working with exponents and radicals, and evaluating and graphing linear and quadratic functions.

MAT-0125C Principles for Applied College Algebra does not satisfy General Education Mathematics requirement.
Prerequisite(s): Appropriate mathematics placement, or completion of MAT-0104  with grade of D, or completion of MAT-0071  with grade of A, and reading proficiency satisfied.
Corequisite(s): MAT-1250 .
